Senators Clinton and Obama, along with most of the mainstream candidates, say they would get our troops out of Iraq. None of them have clear plans on how to do it. My question is-"Where are they going to put them?"
The aforementioned senators both signed a bill sponsered by Joe Lieberman that named the Iranian Republican Guard a terrorist organization, and then authorizing the use of force against that organization. Sounds like the greeenlight for war to me.
How about the situation in Turkey. What situation is that you may ask. The Kurds in Iraq have been raiding across the border with Turkey for several months. The Prime Minister has asked for help from the Iraqi government and the occupying forces to stop this. Help has been promised, but none has emerged. This week the Prime Minister was in London, and stated plainly that he would use the military very shortly. Will the U.S allow a foreign power to invade a country it is occupying? Will we be at war with the world soon? I think that we will, especially if things come to a head while His Majesty George Bush is still in office.
